Freshwater Action Team

The Freshwater Action Team is working to increase the distribution of Atlantic salmon and restore ecosystem function in freshwater habitat. Their primary objective is to increase juvenile survival by addressing a series of prioritized threats: 1) reducing the present or threatened destruction, modification, or curtailment of habitat or range; 2) reduce other factors affecting Atlantic salmon; 3) reduce predation, 4) reduce overutilization; and 5) reduce the inadequacy of existing regulations.
