A feature article focusing on updates to Connecticut's Wildlife Action Plan spotlights brook-trout modeling work by Ben Letcher at USGS.

A feature story in the Connecticut Mirror highlights North Atlantic Landscape Conservation Cooperative research and partners in reflecting on the challenges of protecting wildlife in the face of climate change.

In her article "A decade brings dramatic change to Connecticut wildlife", environmental reporter Jan Ellen Spiegel spotlights brook-trout modeling work by Ben Letcher at USGS that was funded by the North Atlantic LCC. The piece also features interviews with the director of bird conservation for Audubon Connecticut Patrick Comins, a member of the Connecticut River Watershed Pilot Core Team, and natural resources bureau chief at the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Bill Hyatt, a member of the North Atlantic LCC Steering Committee.
The story focuses on the 10-year update to the state's Wildlife Action Plan, slated for completion in 2015.
