North Atlantic LCC Science Delivery grantee featured in U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit

A case study showcasing the Open Space Institute's project to empower conservation partnerships with access to climate data is featured in a national collection of resources for understanding and addressing climate issues that impact people and their communities.

What can real people do to protect their communities in the face of climate change? A North Atlantic LCC partner is now included in a gallery of success stories for how to take action in the U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit, a national clearinghouse for climate data and resources. 

The case study "Hot-Cold Map Provides a Blueprint for Protecting Ecosystems" describes how the Massachusetts-based North Quabbin Regional Landscape Partnership incorporated climate data into strategic planning with funding and support from the Open Space Institute (OSI). OSI received a Science Delivery grant from the North Atlantic LCC to help regional conservation partnerships access and interpret climate data to inform conservation actions.
