The next program in the Water Seminar Series will feature Dr. Britta Bierwagen, ORD/NCEA/Global Change Research Program discussing “Implications of Climate Change for State Bioassessment Programs and Freshwater Biological Traits Database.”

Dr. Britta Bierwagen is a scientist with the Global Change Research Program in the National Center for Environmental Assessment in the Office of Research and Development. Her research includes land use change modeling, bioassessment and monitoring in the context of climate change, and resilience of, and adaptation strategies for urban and ecological systems. She has a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. The Freshwater Biological Traits Database is currently available at http://www.epa.gov/ncea/global/traits/.
