The Downeast Wind Project: Development and Permitting

 We have arranged for Robert Gee, from Apex Clean Energy, to give a presentation on the wind farm being planned for around the Pleasant River and Mopang Stream.  


Originally proposed in 2013, the Downeast Wind project has been through a number of iterations and updates based on developing technology, landowner and public feedback, and extensive environmental surveys and assessments. The project is now in the final phase of design and development prior to submission of a Site Law of Development permit application with DEP. Rob will provide an overview of the current project design and specifications and talk about some of the issues that have arisen in the process of developing a permit application. 

 

There will be opportunities for questions and discussion.

 

In order to keep the chaos to a minimum I would ask that you sign into the meeting by entering your name and affiliation into the chat window.  As for stakeholder reports we will probably have to call on people to give their organization's report.
Hopefully this works and will allow us to continue holding meetings until it is safe to hold them in-person again.
